Josh Johnson has been named chief meteorologist at WSFA.

Johnson has worked on the Montgomery, Ala. NBC affiliate’s morning news for the last seven years.

“Josh continues the tradition of amazing Chief Meteorologists at WSFA 12 News,” said news director Scott Duff. “He is a native Alabamian, his knowledge of the area, people and science are unmatched in the state let alone Montgomery.”
