WSAZ meteorologist Chelsea Ambriz has been charged with misdemeanor battery after getting into a bar fight with her co-anchor, Erica Bivens.
FTVLive first broke the story about the incident, which happened in a local bar.
According to police reports, Ambriz attacked Bivens after Bivens confronted her for hitting on her husband on Sunday night. Bivens, who anchors the station’s 4 and 10 p.m. shows, suffered a ruptured eardrum and skull fracture when Ambriz shoved her to the ground.

Ambriz is due in court on Sept. 21.
The Gray-owned station in Huntington, W.Va., has not released a statement. A quick look at TVEyes shows that neither woman has been on-air this week.
