WROC AM Anchor Mark Gruba Leaves Station to Spend More Time With Family

Mark Gruba has signed off from Rochester CBS affiliate WROC after more than 10 years.

Gruba, who is a morning anchor, started working at the station in 2011.

“With his voice engraved in the forever history of News 8, Mark departs from the station he joined in 2011 with plans to spend time with his wife Dawn and three children Holly, Drew and Ashley,” the station wrote on its website.

Gruba’s last show was yesterday’s noon newscast where he told viewers that working at the station, “has been a labor of love all these years.”
