WRC reporter Shomari Stone is joining CNBC as a general assignment reporter for The News with Shepard Smith.
Stone will stay in the Washington, D.C. area and work out of the NBC News’ D.C. bureau starting April 4. He will also be traveling nationally and internationally to follow major stories as they unfold.
Stone worked at the NBC owned station in D.C. for 10 years as a general assignment reporter specializing in breaking news coverage. He’s also worked as a reporter for KOMO in Seattle, WFOR in Miami, and WINK in Fort Myers, Fla.
