A tipster has pointed us to a unique promo created by WQOW in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The ABC-affiliate posted a video to YouTube titled “Lori & Bob Confession” in which a fictional married couple confess to having what initially appears to be extramarital trysts.
It turns out that the couple, unhappy with their regular local news options, had both been sneaking away to watch WQOQ. As Bob says towards the end of the video, “The Eau Claire station that I grew up with just wasn’t cutting it for me anymore.”
