WPXI Expands Noon News

Starting Monday, WPXI Noon news will be a half hour longer, ending at 1:00 p.m.

Mike Oliveira, news director for the Pittsburgh NBC affiliate, told TVSpy, “I’m excited for our team to get going on it and be the first in this time slot.”

The expanded show will still be anchored by Peggy Finnegan, Joe Arena and meteorologist Kevin Benson.

“The Doctors” which aired at 12:30 p.m. moves to 1:00 p.m., the fourth hour of “Today” now airs at 2:00 p.m. while “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” goes away.
