Nicole Hogensen has been promoted to news director for the West Palm Beach, Fla., NBC and Fox affiliate WPTV–WFLX.
“She has a tremendous work ethic and a laser focus on growing our audiences on all platforms,” said Lloyd Bucher, vp and GM of WPTV. “We are very fortunate to have someone with Nicole’s news judgement and leadership abilities here in our newsroom that we can develop and promote to this new challenge.”
She started at the station as managing editor in 2010 and was promoted to assistant news director last year.

Hogensen worked at WTVR in Richmond, Va., before coming to WPTV. She’s also worked at WBNS in Columbus, Ohio, WJET in Erie, Pa., and WKYC-WVPX in Cleveland, Ohio.
