Providence, RI, CBS affiliate WPRI is adding a half-hour local newscast to sister station FOX affiliate WNAC on Monday, January 27.
We’re expanding our early evening news coverage to help fit the busy lifestyles of our viewers in Southern New England,” said WPRI news director Karen Rezendes. “Our news team is committed to providing them more local news and weather content when they want it.”
The 6:30 p.m. show will be anchored by Shannon Hegy, Steve Nielsen, and chief meteorologist Tony Petrarca.
