David Shenfeld will be the new executive producer for the WPIX morning newscast.
Shenfeld comes to Tribune’s New York flagship station from Fusion where he was director of Talent and Development.
“As a native New Yorker, I grew up watching WPIX and I’m thrilled to join a station with such a deep legacy and history serving the Tri-state area,” said Shenfeld.

Shenfeld starts Monday April, 3. He’s worked as ep of Good Day New York at Fox-owned WNYW, for iVillage for NBC and for Verizon Fios/RNN. He’s also worked as senior producer for CBS News’ Early Show and TRL on MTV and on the launch of the fX Network, Geraldo, Regis and Kelly and Fox’s Backstage on Broadway.
