WPIX Names Former EP Managing Editor

By Kevin Eck

Tribune-owned New York station WPIX has named Saul Adams managing editor.

This is a return to WPIX for Adams, who first started working at the CW affiliate in 2003 and was the nightside executive producer when he left in 2013. He starts Jan. 15.

“Saul has a passion for New York news, the city’s history, its people and its neighborhoods,” said Amy Waldman, WPIX news director. “This, paired with his skill for telling a compelling story, is the perfect complement to our mission at PIX11 News. I am looking forward to bringing him back home to PIX11 where he’s already proved he’s a true news leader.”
