The City of West Palm Beach has named WPEC reporter Kathleen Walter as the city’s new communications director, reports the Palm Beach Post.
Walter begins work in her new role this week. “I am excited to now be a part of the wonderful city that I have spent so many years covering as a reporter,” Walter said. “My number one priority is to make sure everyone knows about the exciting and important things this city is doing for its residents and the overall community.”
Before joining CBS affiliate WPEC, Walter worked for ABC affiliate WPBF.
