Work From Home Bloopers Surface as Newsers Try to Keep Their Kids Off-Air

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

It’s no surprise that work from home bloopers are popping up all over social media. It’s not easy! And for some local newser parents, it’s downright frustrating at times.

WCPO meteorologist Jennifer Ketchmark posted outakes of her trying to tape a forecast yesterday that every working mom can relate to. That feeling when you just can’t control your emotions any longer after asking your children to give you five minutes, 50 times!

“What’s it like working from home with a 3 year old and an 8 year old?? Incredibly frustrating. This wasn’t my finest moment but I’m sure I’m not alone. I bring you … recording blunders and bloopers,” the Cincinnati weather anchor wrote.

The video showed Ketchmark repeatedly asking her kids for a minute so she can tape her weather hit. You hear her telling them their Dad is on a work call and that she needs a minute. But that doesn’t stop them from continuing to ask questions.

As a working Mom who has a 9 month old and a 5 year old, I feel and sympathize with you! We’ll all doing our best and that’s just is going to have to do for now.
