A woman has been charged with pointing a gun and firing at a KFOR reporter.
The Oklahoma City NBC station says Abby Broyles and an unnamed station photographer were reporting on a link last week between a homicide and a beating in the area when Bobbie Meeks pointed a gun at Broyles and fired.
Guthrie News Page reports Meeks was arrested for shooting with intent to kill.
The attorney’s office says Meeks is a violent person and is a dangerous individual to the public and to the reporter and photographer. The judge approved the district attorney’s bail amount of $250,000 and is not to have contact with the two victims.
Meeks told the judge, “I was on private property. I did not shoot at them (sic) people.”
