By Kevin Eck

In January, New York Fox-owned station WNYW will debut a half-hour show based on reporter Lisa Evers‘ radio program HOT 97’s Street Soldiers with Lisa Evers.

The interactive show will feature celebrities and community leaders talking about the issues of the day. Evers’ radio show airs every Sunday morning at 7 on HOT 97. “Lisa’s guests discuss critical and controversial issue such as gun violence, teen pregnancy, police-community relations.” Her mantra is “Use your mind, it’s your best weapon and let’s push for peace.”

The TV show will air on Saturday between Jan. 9 and Jan. 31 at 10:30 p.m. on WNYW. It will also stream live nationally on the WNYW website.
