Well-known WNYW entertainment reporter Baruch Shemtov is leaving the station to pursue an MBA. Today, the Fox station in New York City announced his replacement who comes from Connecticut.
Ryan Kristafer is joining Fox 5 as the station’s entertainment reporter and will report on pop culture news for Good Day New York.
“We are excited to have Ryan on board. With his solid reporting skills, great comedic timing, and fantastic personality, he’s a perfect addition to the ‘Good Day New York’ team,” said vice president and news director Byron Harmon.

Kristafer hosted CT Style on WTNH in New Haven, Conn. He previously spent a year as a correspondent for a nationally syndicated Man in the Stands feature on NBC Sports Radio.
