WNYW Crew Finds Woman Giving Birth on NYC Street

A crew from New York FOX owned station WNYW stumbled across a woman giving birth on a Manhattan street.

It happened yesterday around 3:30 p.m. on the Upper East Side. A WNYW crew was on its way to another story when it saw a crowd in the street.

The station said the woman was trying to get a cab when she went into labor. “She was like, ‘oh, my God, the baby’s coming’,” one witness told WNYW. “And then I could see the baby’s head coming out.”

According to the station, mother and baby are doing well at a local hospital.
