
Matthew Smith, Jr. has been hired by Saginaw, Mich., CBS affiliate WNEM as an MMJ/reporter.
WNEM news director Ian Rubin confirmed the hire with TVSpy and said Smith is also a student at the University of Michigan, Flint campus.
“Well everyone it’s now official— I’ve accepted an offer with WNEM-TV5 news for a temp MMJ/Reporter (on air) job position,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “This is a big step in my career. I’m looking forward to working with this great station. Pretty soon I’ll be bringing you the COVERAGE YOU CAN COUNT ON!
