WNCT says it’s launching a weekend morning newscast starting Saturday, June 27.
The show will air Saturdays from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. and Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. on the Greenville CBS affiliate. Kelly Byrne and meteorologist Pierce Legeion will anchor.
“Weekend morning news is important to our viewers and we’re thrilled to launch this new show with the great team of Kelly Byrne and Pierce Legeion who will continue the tradition of bringing WNCT 9 On Your Side’s viewers the latest news and weather weekend mornings,” said WNCT gm John O. Lewis.
