Jacqueline Matter has been named morning co-anchor for the Greenville, N.C. CBS affiliate.
“In Jacqueline’s time at WNCT she has proven herself to be a great journalist,” said news director Stephanie Shultz. “Telling strong stories about the issues that affect eastern North Carolina, that combined with her outgoing personality make her a perfect fit to join Maria and Dontae on 9 On Your Side Morning Edition.”
Matter joins Maria Satira and meteorologist Dontae Jones in June.

She’s overseen the Jacksonville Bureau for WNCT since she started in 2015.
