CBS North Carolina has hired a new morning anchor.
Felicia Bolton will join WNCN from WMC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Memphis where she has been a special projects reporter for the past three years. Before that she was a morning anchor.
According to the News Observer, she is not replacing anyone. News director Ed Trauschke says the morning team is expanding. She will join anchors Russ Bowen and Taniya Wright in mid-March.

This is just one of many anchor changes coming to the Raleigh station. A new evening team is expected to be announced soon. Sharon Tazwell‘s last day is today. Sean Maroney, her former co-anchor, left the station in February.
