Gina Oliva-Pinto has been named vice president of marketing and creative services for New York NBC owned station WNBC.

“Gina is a talented leader and marketer, who has impressive broadcasting experience at local stations, syndicated programming and at the corporate level,” said Eric Lerner, WNBC president and general manager. “She has also led successful multiplatform campaigns, which grew NBC and Telemundo station audiences across the country. We cannot wait for Gina to continue this record of success at WNBC.”

Fully bi-lingual in English and Spanish, Oliva-Pinto will continue WNBC’s collaboration with sister station Telemundo 47/WNJU.

Oliva-Pinto joined the NBCUniversal Local division in 2017 from WABC, where she worked as a marketing producer. She comes to WNBC after serving in marketing leadership roles at NBCUniversal Local as senior director—and most recently as vp of marketing, where she was in-house marketing counsel to NBC/Telemundo owned stations’ creative services directors.

Oliva-Pinto has also worked for the Warner Brothers TV Distribution’s affiliate marketing team, supporting the Anderson Live and Bethenny shows. Before that, she worked at local stations WNYW in New York and WFOR in Miami in promotion roles with increasing responsibility. She began her career at WBFS as a promo coordinator.
