WNBC Meteorologist Says He’s Self-Isolating Due to Possible Coronavirus Exposure

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

On Saturday morning, WNBC meteorologist Raphael Miranda told viewers on Twitter he’s off the air because of possible exposure to the coronavirus.

“Good morning everyone! You won’t see me on tv this weekend because my family and I are self-quarantined for a few days as we have been instructed (due to possible exposure). We are all doing well. Thanks to ⁦‪@DavePriceTV‬⁩ and ⁦‪@Matt_Brickman‬⁩ for picking up the slack!”

That happened at 7:22 a.m.

But later in the day, his tweet was deleted without explanation.

Miranda anchors the weather on Saturday and Sunday mornings for the New York NBC station. He did not appear on any shows today. TVSpy will continue to monitor the situation.
