WNBC has launched a 10-minute weekday digicast exclusively for OTT viewers.
“News 4 Now” will be available at 4:00 p.m. on the NBC owned station’s Roku and Apple TV channels. Viewers can also watch it on the NBC app.
“We created the new digicast with WNBC’s growing OTT audience in mind,” said WNBC vp of digital, Ben Berkowitz. “Led by the team that the Tri-State knows and trusts, ‘News 4 Now’ will include everything our viewers need to know to stay on the go.”

The station says the newscast will feature a relaxed format, upbeat tempo and custom graphics.
