WNBC Gets New General Manager

WNBC-TV has a new leader. Michael Jack, the longtime general manager of WRC in Washington, D.C., is taking over NBC’s flagship station in New York.

Mr. Jack replaces Tom O’Brien, who has moved to the newly created position of executive vice president of Nonstop Network, with responsibility for launching digital channels across the NBC Local Media division in the mode of the year-old New York Nonstop.
