Meteorologist Ted McInerney is joining Portland, Maine ABC affiliate WMTW.
McInerney comes from WIAT in Birmingham, Ala. where he’s worked since 2011.
“Northern New England viewers will wake up every weekday morning to hear meteorologists Mallory Brooke and Ted McInerney break down the sunrise conditions and what’s in store for the remains of the day and week,” said news director Amy Beveridge.

“I know that his expertise and passion in meteorology will continue boosting our presence in the morning and keep us as the dominant source for weather across Maine and New Hampshire,” said Brooke. “In addition, I’m excited to have Ted join me in our ever-growing and successful Weather At Your School program.”
