Green Bay FOX affiliate WLUK said goodbye to weekend meteorologist Doug Higgins Saturday morning.
The station invited his friends, family and corgis to join him on-air. “I’ve done this for 23 years,” said Higgins. “And wanted to spend more time with friends and family.”

Higgins is starting a new career in Green Bay. He began working at WLUK in 2002. Before that he has worked at WHOI in Peoria, Illinois, WBAY in Green Bay, KRIS in Corpus Christi, Texas and WABG in Greenville, Miss.
