WLNS, a CBS-affiliate serving central michigan, is debuting a new talk show this week that’s essentially a local version of “The View” or “The Talk.”
“Six in the City” features six local news personalities, all women, seated around a table discussing news headlines and lifestyle topics. It’s filmed before a live audience, although it won’t air live.

“This is so exciting, because we’re not used to it,” veteran WLNS anchor Jane Aldrich told the Lansing State Journal about the new show. “We’re used to scripts and Teleprompters.”
The one-hour show debuts today at 7 p.m., with reruns airing on Thursday and Sunday. WLNS plans to film one episode per month.
