Providence ABC affiliate WLNE has named Kelly Johnston news director.
“I am excited to welcome Kelly back to the family as News Director and I am confident she will be successful in bringing fresh ideas and a continued competitive spirit to ABC6 News,” said vp and GM Chris Tzianabos.
Johnston started her career at WLNE in 1999 as a graphics producer. She worked her way up to senior producer before leaving the station in 2013 to spend more time with her family.
