Raycom’s Jackson, Miss. NBC affiliate WLBT has hired Hatton Weeks to be its news director.
Weeks has been news director at KAIT, Raycom’s Jonesboro, Ark. station, since 2008. He moves up 87 markets in the move.

Weeks started at KAIT in 1996. He worked his way up to reporter and producer before leaving for KTHV in 1999. He came back to KAIT in 2006 as assistant news director after working as a Congressional staffer for US Congressman Marion Berry and later working at his family’s construction business.
