WKRN Photographer Rolling When Fuel in Storm Drain Explodes

When a tanker truck exploded in west Nashville, some of the fuel leaked into the city’s storm drains. That fuel started smaller explosions throughout the city.

A photographer for the Nashville ABC affiliate WKRN was recording when one of those explosions happened.

According to WKRN, city officials say the water is safe to drink and the sewer system is fine.
