Dick Goddard, the longtime WJW weatherman, was hospitalized Friday after falling at his home.
The Cleveland Fox affiliate reports the 85-year-old Goddard is doing well after hip surgery. He had just finished a daylong telethon to benefit the Animal Protective League in Cleveland when he fell.
Fox 8 spoke with Dick by phone Friday morning, and when asked if there was anything the station could do for him, Dick replied “get the Browns a quarterback.”
