While there was a lot made of the big snowfall, very little was, or is, said about what it’s like to live in a city after the snow has blanketed the streets and sidewalks.
WJLA reporter Horace Holmes strapped on a GoPro and showed viewers that while having plowed streets is good, it’s often at the expense of pedestrians who are faced with piled up snow blocking sidewalk access.
The Washington, D.C. ABC affiliate reporter had one piece of advice for viewers: “Don’t wear nice shoes,” said Holmes. “Boots people, please.”
