Amy Andrews has been promoted to anchor of the WJBK 11:00 a.m. newscast. She will also anchor The Nine from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
“Amy has proven to be a respected reporter, active member of the Detroit community and a team player,” WJBK VP and news director Kevin Roseborough said in a statement.
Andrews has been the 4:30 a.m. anchor and a contributor to The Nine on the Detroit FOX owned station. Before coming to WJBK, she anchored Better Mid-Michigan on WNEM in Saginaw, Mich. she has also worked at KSBY in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
