WIVB, the CBS affiliate in Buffalo, has promoted anchor-reporter Dave Greber to morning anchor.
Greber will join Melanie Orlins on Wake Up starting today.
“His storytelling skills, community connections and sunny personality will be an asset to our team. We still expect Dave to break news and bring home the big interviews,” said news director Lisa Polster in a memo to the staff which was obtained by the Buffalo news.

Prior to this, Greber co-anchored the 4 and 6:30 p.m. shows with Christy Kern on sister station WLNO.
