Josh Reed has been named sports director for Buffalo CBS affiliate WIVB.
“I believe viewers will appreciate his storytelling, passion for sports and will connect with his personality when they watch him,” WIVB news director Scott Levy told the Buffalo News. “With Bills season underway, we’re lucky to have found a great internal candidate so quickly within Media General.”
Reed comes from WHTM in Harrisburg, Pa. where he is weekend sports anchor.

WIVB let sports director Steve Vesey go last week, leaving the station without anyone in the sports department until its latest hire, Tom Martin arrives tomorrow.
