WITI Names Chief Meteorologist

By Kevin Eck

Rob Haswell has been named chief meteorologist at Milwaukee Fox affiliate WITI.

Haswell has worked at the Tribune-owned station since 2005 as the morning meteorologist. He replaces Vince Condella who is retiring after 34 years.

“It was obvious to us from the day Rob came to FOX6 that he was going to make an impact on Milwaukee television”, said Chuck Steinmetz, president and GM of WITI. “I’ve gotten to know Rob off the air and can tell you that he is genuine, smart, and he understands Wisconsin weather. He has earned his new role and will do a great job leading our team of weather experts.”
