Milwaukee ABC affiliate WISN has named Kristin Pierce as the station’s 5 p.m. co anchor.

Pierce joins long-time WISN anchor Patrick Paolantonio and chief meteorologist Mark Baden.

“Kristin has quickly become a fixture not only at WISN 12 but also across Southeastern Wisconsin,” said Jan Wade, president and general manager of WISN. “From her natural instincts in journalism to her captivating skills in storytelling, she’s a wonderful fit for this newscast.”

Pierce will continue to co-anchor the 4 p.m. alongside Derrick Rose and Mark Baden. Pierce started working at WISN as a weekend evening news anchor in March 2022.

“Wisconsin feels like home because of the people; they have really embraced me,” said Pierce. “I am thrilled and grateful to be a part of this community- to continue to get to know people and share impactful stories and cover critical issues that make a difference in people’s lives.”

Before joining WISN, Pierce was an anchor and reporter at WHAS in Louisville. She’s also worked as an anchor and reporter at WWL in New Orleans, and as a reporter at WXYZ-WMYD in Detroit.
