WISH-TV Adds Extra Hour To Morning Lineup

WISH, the Nexstar-owned CW affiliate in Indianapolis will air eight hours of morning programming. The station is adding an hour to its morning show, News 8 Daybreak.

“WISH-TV’s expansion to ‘All Local. All Morning.’ further enhances our commitment to 24-hour news and local programming,” said the station vice president and general manager, Randy Ingram. “These additional hours allow us to deliver more breaking news, investigative journalism, traffic and weather coverage in new, underserved time periods for viewers.”

The new programming will begin September 11. The morning show will air from 4-10am, followed by Indy Style from 10-11am and the midday show from 11am-noon.

With this expansion, WISH-TV becomes the market leader in total hours of local news and programming, and the only station that’s all local, all morning long.
