Starting May 17, Amicia Ramsey will join Mallory Anderson as co-anchor of the WILX morning news.
“I am excited to be returning to the Midwest and becoming a part of this community,” said Ramsey. “I hope to build trust with people in Mid-Michigan and tell stories that impact them the most.”
Ramsey last worked at WHBQ in Memphis, Tenn. She’s also worked at KMPH in Fresno, Calif., and WTOK in Meridian, Miss.

“Amicia is a talented journalist and a fantastic person,” said Debbie Petersmark, general manager of the Lansing, Mich. NBC affiliate. “I believe she is a great addition to our #1 rated morning show, and that viewers will truly connect with her.”
