Media General has named Steve South president and GM of its Wichita NBC affiliate KSNW.
South was general sales manager at Media General’s WLNS-WLAJ in Lansing, Mich.
“My wife and I are very excited to be returning home to Kansas and near our family,” said South. “I’m excited as well for the opportunity to work alongside the professionals at KSN who are so committed to serving the community.”

Before joining WLNS-WLAJ, South has worked as COO and director of Business Development for Bott Radio Network, marketing consultant at Time Warner Cable, gsm for KTNV in Las Vegas, and vp and station manager at KAKE in Wichita.
