WHTM in Harrisburg, Pa. has added five reporters to its staff.
Dawn White, Chris Davis, Perris Thomas, Andrew Forgotch and Samantha Galvez have all joined the ABC affiliate.
White comes from WGAL, the markets NBC affiliate in Lancaster, Pa. where she was a traffic reporter.
Davis will be a weeknight and weekend morning reporter. He comes from KCEN in Waco, Texas.
Thomas, who joins from sister-station WJTV in Jackson, Miss., will report on the morning news Monday through Friday. She’ll also take over the Let’s Go Places reports.
Forgotch will be the Monday through Friday Lancaster County reporter. He last worked at WBRE in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Galvez comes from WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia and will cover the York County beat.
A WHTM spokesperson told TVSpy the new reporters are replacing some reporters who left for larger markets and are part of a newsroom shift to provide more content both on-air and online.
