Sandy Pudar has been promoted to assistant news director of Tribune’s Chicago CW affiliate WGN.
“For more than five years as Executive Producer, she’s maintained our #1 status in the highly competitive morning news time slot and actually grown it, which is quite a feat,” WGN news director Jennifer Lyons said in a statement.
Pudar started at WGN as an intern and has worked at the station for 15 years. She was named executive producer of the WGN Morning News in 2009.
