Lauren Magiera has been named sports anchor and reporter for Chicago CW affiliate WGN.
Magiera comes from the Green Bay Packers organization where she co-hosted a weekly 30-minute pre-game show.
“Coming home to work in my hometown is a dream come true,” said Magiera. “Chicago is the greatest sports city in the country and I grew up watching all the coverage on WGN.”

She’s also been a director/producer/reporter at WAOW in Wausau, Wisc., a fill-in anchor at KTUU in Anchorage and sports director at KIMO.
