WGCL Names Amanda Davis’ Replacement

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

WGCL has hired former WCBS morning anchor Shon Gables as the new co-anchor of CBS46 Morning News. Gables replaces Amanda Davis, who passed away after suffering a stroke.

She will join Gurvir Dhindsa starting March 5.

WGCL investigative reporter and noon anchor Karyn Greer had been filing in since the death of morning show co-anchor Amanda Davis in December. Greer will move to a new role as head of community outreach at the station.
