Meredith-owned Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL has added Bobby Kaple as a morning anchor.
Kaple last worked at KCBS in Los Angeles. He’s also worked at XETV in San Diego, WPBF in West Palm Beach, Fla. and KCCI in Des Moines, Iowa.
Rodney Ho, media writer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, who first reported the story, says he thinks this hire will mark the end of the recent anchor re-stock at the Meredith-owned station.
