Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL has named Kelly Frank senior managing editor of Broadcast, Digital and Social.
The newly created position will oversee content across broadcast, digital and social media for the Meredith-owned station. In an email obtained by TVSpy, news director Larry Perret told staff he believes this newly created position “is critical to the success of our news operation.”
Frank last worked as EP, US Operations for CNN. Before that, she was an EP at Washington, D.C. FOX owned station WTTG. She’s also worked as an EP and producer at KPNX in Phoenix, WTMJ in Milwaukee and WCMH in Columbus, Ohio.
