Tegna’s Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, N.C. CBS affiliate WFMY has promoted Cami Anthony to marketing director.

Anthony makes the switch from news to marketing on June 1. She’s the managing editor at the station and has worked as assistant news director and executive producer before that.

She’s been working at the station ever since she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 14 years ago.

“Cami knows news and our community inside and out,” said WFMY president and gm Larry Audas. “That she will use deep experience and grow the marketing side of our audience focus is a huge plus. She’s a pro, genuinely cares, and will further connect our brand with the WFMY family of viewers, consumers and clients.”

“One of the main reasons I have roots here is my love for the Triad,” said Anthony. “All of its rich history, growing cultural scene, and friendly people have me hooked. I can’t wait to dive deeper into this community in my new role.”
