Malini Basu is joining Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA as a reporter on April 19.
“Texas, I’m coming home to join the legendary @wfaa news team as a reporter,” Basu wrote on Twitter. “I couldn’t be more excited to live in the same city as my family. I’ve been waiting for this perfect opportunity for years.”
Basu, who currently works at WFXT in Boston, has worked in Texas before. Before working at WFXT, Basu worked at KHOU in Houston. She’s also worked at WVIT in Hartford, Conn. and WLNE in Providence, R.I.
