An employee of Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA has been arrested on child sex abuse charges.
Mike Chappell, who has worked at the station for five years as a supervisor of information technology, was arrested while at the station Tuesday afternoon.
He’s been charged with three counts of indecency with a child and one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child from an incident in June 2008. The Dallas Morning News reports Chappell’s also looking at charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child from June 2011.

WFAA reported the arrest, adding the charges involve a family member of Chappell’s. The station also said it had no comment.
