WFAA anchor Alisha Laventure gave the President a piece of her mind.
Laventure is the daughter of two Haitian immigrants. She says she took personal offense to President Trump’s comments about immigrants from Haiti.
“The fact is what the President said the other day is so wrong, I can’t even repeat it,” she said.

“I have always been proud of my Haitian heritage and at the end of the day, I believe everyone deserves respect.”
